Comprehensive Psychiatric Services

We specialize in integrative psychiatry services, emphasizing a holistic approach to mental health and well-being. Our goal is to make sure that each of our patients receives the best possible care. Drawing from the expertise of our psychiatric nurse practitioners, our philosophy centers around providing clients with personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs and goals.

We understand that there is no single factor that determines one’s mental health, but rather a complex interplay of biological, psychological, and social elements. Our practice is based on the principle that patients’ mental health can only improve if we attend to all of these factors.

Holistic Mental
Health Care

When it comes to mental health, we don’t just focus on biological imbalances; we also consider psychological and social issues. We use a holistic approach because we want to see our patients thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally. This holistic approach involves focusing on more than just chemical imbalances, but also psychological and social factors in order to reach optimal mental wellbeing. We are committed to helping our patients find a healthier balance and improved quality of life through dedicated and compassionate care.

Effective Therapies and Techniques

We utilize integrative evidence-based therapy and conventional forms of psychiatric care. Our team uses a variety of effective methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing. These strategies help people learn to deal with difficult situations, handle stress, and strengthen their emotional fortitude.

Medication Management Expertise

Medication management is a specialty of our psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners. The most effective medications and dosages are determined after a thorough evaluation of each patient’s symptoms. Individuals can benefit from better symptom management and overall mental health thanks to this knowledge.

Personalized Treatment Plans

The path to mental health is different for everyone, which is why we personalize our care to each patient. In addition to psychotherapy, medication management, and lifestyle counseling, the psychiatric nurse practitioners on our staff are experts at developing individualized treatment regimens. We work closely with each patient in order to provide a personalized treatment plan that suits their specific needs. Treatment may include psychotherapy, medication management, lifestyle guidance and other support services. We believe that the best results come from a combination of traditional psychiatric care and therapies like cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and EMDR. Integration of mental health care includes medication management with a psychiatrist or psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in collaboration with the patient’s therapist. This model provides the best therapeutic outcomes.

what our clients say

I was extremely apprehensive on my first visit because I was in a very bad mental state. Amanda was very thorough, very friendly, and made me feel very comfortable from the very beginning. As I recovered I looked forward to our visits but in the end we mutually decided that it was time for me to leave the nest and fly away. If I ever need her I can always call on her. There was something about the layout of the office, the furnishings, and the calming energy that always put me at ease. My first encounter with psychiatric counseling was definitely a positive experience and something that I'll cherish.
Charles
This practice has not only helped my mental health, but I have been treated in a way that is caring and thoughtful. I feel like I'm more than just the 10:30 client - there's a vested interest in my well being. Amanda Farrell is who I've been working with for a few years now and I highly recommend her! I also feel confident that anyone in the practice is trustworthy and reliable. Again, highly recommended!
Melissa
Amanda is an absolute RARE find. My husband even agreed that she does….actually….. care about me and my health. I’m 50 and this might be the first time in my life that I’ve felt that my doctor/therapist really wants me to be happy and successful in life. Starting therapy when I was in my 20’s so there is a long list of docs/therapist that I’ve seen over the years. Highly recommend — especially if you’ve started feeling like you’re just another patient in the queue.
Susannah
This is the best psychiatry practice I have been to. Everyone I have worked with has been empathetic and understanding. The office feels very warm and I feel very taken care of. I always know when I call or email, Riley will be super responsive to my needs. Highly recommend!
Ellen
Amanda has been incredibly helpful. I'm much happier and more productive.
Bob
Wellness Psychiatry goes above and beyond. Everyone from admin to clinical staff. The team fosters warmth and are very attentive to your needs. Addressing mental health has felt overwhelming but this team makes it me feel comfortable and supported. Thanks!
